ザンビアへの心臓手術技術移転

TICOのザンビア心臓血管外科技術移転事業の一環として、2023年6月27日より第11回目の派遣チームが現地ザンビアのNational Heart Hospital (NHH)の医師・看護師・医療スタッフと共に技術移転と現地メンバーの教育研修を行っており、現時点までに重症の症例3例の手術を行なっています。

そのうちの1例で術後死亡例が発生しましたので、ご報告申し上げます。残念ながら、開心術後1日目にICUでお亡くなりになりました。

As part of TICO’s Zambia Cardiovascular Surgery Technology Transfer Project, the 11th dispatch team has been working with doctors, nurses, and medical staff at the National Heart Hospital (NHH) in Zambia since June 27th, 2023 to transfer technology and provide education and training for local members.

The team has operated on three so far and unfortunately, one resulted in a death, day one post open heart surgery in ICU.

We would like to express our deepest condolences to the family.
